Indianapolis Colts

Ray Rice has a hip pointer that limited him in practice today. The injury doesn’t appear serious and we would be very, very surprised to see him not start and play the majority of the snaps on Sunday against the Broncos. New OC Jim Caldwell is going to be anxious to get the most out of Rice and get the Ravens offense moving.

Brown is ahead of schedule actually. No one expected to have him suit up for this weekend’s game but today he practiced and reports indicate that he wasn’t limited. Logic still dictates that Brown won’t have the backfield work to himself. Vick Ballard will almost surely split the work with Brown this week.

Holy BYE week issues! Check out these big names that will be relaxing on Sunday. Lesean McCoy will be home wondering why Andy Reid doesn’t use them. Michael Turner may be shopping for chairs large enough to contain his giant caboose. Reggie Bush will be polishing his real Heismann trophy wondering if they will ever catch on to the fact that he returned a fake one made out of chocolate. Ryan Mathews will be trying not to get injured during the off week and I have nothing witty to say about Willis McGahee and Jamaal Charles.
