Brandon LaFell was scheduled for an MRI today but no results have been disclosed. He’s listed as questionable for this week’s matchup against the Falcons who are surrendering just 18.6 fantasy points per game to opposing receivers. Only six teams are giving up fewer points per game.
A few big name pass catchers will be sidelined by the BYE in week 11 including Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Percy Harvin, and, or what it’s worth, the unpredictable receivers in Tennessee and Seattle are off. Brandon LaFell took a big hit against the Steelers and, according to Panther’s head coach Ron Rivera, passed a concussion test on the sideline. If indeed he did pass the sideline testing then it was insufficient because he has been sidelined now, probably for Week 9 at least, with a concussion. If testing wasn’t administered this could become a real issue for the Panthers.
