Peyton Manning continues to be a pain the neck for those that have already drafted and have him on their roster. Reports have surfaced that the Colts fear he’ll miss at least week 1 which led to the signing of veteran Kerry Collins.

Today we present Injury Updates from as they delve deeper to qualify the severity of the injury and likelihood that the player could miss significant time. No other top QBs are dealing with bumps as bruises - sorry Jason Campbell and David Garrard – you simply are blips on the fantasy radar.

Maurice Jones-Drew remains the only top 15 RB that bears concern although we expect he’s fine by week one. The injury could make him a solid bargain if he slips to round 2 (has averaged over 1,600 yards past two seasons). Reagrdless, Jacksonville’s Rashad Jennings is one of the top 5 handcuffs to own this season. No major injuries among the WRs (unless you consider knucklehead rookie WR Jonathan Baldwin’s broken hand). Roddy White and Mile Austin have missed time but neither injury is serious enough to affect their fantasy stock.
