This week we are going to present a few of the more detail oriented Mock Drafts that we can find to help our readers stay on the up & up as the Draft rumors fly. We caution to take most of what you hear with a grain of salt as GMs now have their game faces on and will likely be releasing more false information than an OJ trial.
Today we present the latest and greatest from SI’s Peter King who always has his ear to the pavement when it comes to the NFL Rumor Mill. King’s top 10 is similar to most but he projects just three WRs going in round 1 (Blackmon to St Louis, Michael Floyd to Carolina and Kendall Wright (owner of 16% body fat) to Chicago. Stephen Hill is labeled as one of the better vertical threats in this class but his limited experience in Ga Tech’s run oriented offense could make him a solid pick in the first half of round 2 (although we think Houston at #26 and San Fran at #30 will get Hill a long look).
King also sees 4 signal callers coming off the board in round 1 with Tannehill going at 8 to Miami and grandpa Weeden going to Cleveland at #22. We just don’t see Weeden as a first round value and feel that Cleveland or Kansas City using their 2nd rounder on the Okie State soon to be 29 year old QB is more likely.
