NEWS
Anyone else getting the feeling that the Cowboys haven’t been forthcoming about the injury to Demarco Murray. He hasn’t even practiced since going down with a foot injury in week 6. It’s a frustrating situation for owners who invested a first or early second round pick in Murray. The Cowboys get to face a sad Eagles team with a terrible coach and a lack of heart this week. It would have been a golden opportunity for Murray.
VIEWS
Rotoworld.com says that Jason Garrett wants Murray to practice before he will put him on the field (and Cowboys fans want Garrett fired but not everyone gets their wishes). They are looking for Lance Dunbar and Felix Jones to carry the load.
FantasySmackTalk.com ranks Jones at #27 this week at RB.
ESPN projects 15 carries for 61 yards and 2 receptions for 22 yards receiving on 2 receptions. See their projections here.
FANTASY FOOTBALL SPIN
The Eagles look like a team that has quit and the new defensive coordinator hasn’t shown he is anything short of a disaster. The Cowboys, however, are playing equally poorly and Felix Jones may not see enough work to produce like a starter. At best he is a low end RB2 and really more like a flex option.
