The Cowboys haven’t been very honest about Murray’s foot injury.  At first the diagnosis, at least the one shared with the public, led everyone to believe this would entail a week or two  of recovery and their lead back would return to action.  Well it’s looking more like five weeks with no guarantees thereafter.

This may have to do as much with a lack of respect for their week 11 opponent (Browns) as Murray’s health.  That doesn’t make it any less frustrating for Murray owners (like me), as a matter of fact it makes it worse since a rested and ready Murray would have the potential for a bi game.

The frustrating reality is that we will probably see Murray sit again but we will keep you posted.  The Browns are giving up 20.4 fantasy points per game to opposing rushers and rank 27th in the league against the run (132 ypg).  If Murray doesn’t go Felix Jones is looking like he’ll be a RB2 in the rankings.

  1. Glad to have Felux the Cat as a handcuff!

  2. Or even Felix!
