Despite Niners HC Jim Harbaugh claiming that he will not decide on a starting QB until Sunday it has become quite clear that Alex Smith will be riding the pine in favor of the youngster.  The matchup is a fantastic one even for a somewhat unproven QB on a run heavy team.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SPIN

The experts are responding in kind.  Colin Kaepernick  has cracked the top 12 in most expert rankings now.  We have seen him as high as #7 this week.  The Saints have the worst pass defense in the league and QBs rack up fantasy points like Antonio Cromartie impregnates strangers.  Kaepernick could have field day and we believe he will finish with QB1 numbers this week.
