The Steelers are expecting their star QB back against the Chargers for Week 14. None too soon for the receivers who have struggled to post legitimate numbers without Big Ben at the helm.

Over the 3 games Ben has missed Mike Wallace has 10 receptions, 77 yards, 0 TDs. As a matter of fact, only Heath Miller may miss the back ups. Miller amassed 13 receptions, 182 yards, 1 TD over the three game period that Roethlisberger was down. San Diego has been consistently middle of the road against opposing receivers when it comes to fantasy points. Over the past 5 games they have given up 21 fantasy points to WRs on average, on the season they are giving up 23 points per game.

The Chargers are giving up 257 yards per game to opposing QBs so it’s a decent matchup for Roethlisberger if he does indeed play.
