Injury SPIN: Ray Rice Week 15 Status…

Ray Rice has a hip pointer that limited him in practice today. The injury doesn’t appear serious and we would be very, very surprised to see him not start and play the majority of the snaps on Sunday against the Broncos. New OC Jim Caldwell is going to be anxious to get the most out of Rice and get the Ravens offense moving.

FANTASY FOOTBALL SPIN

Ray Rice is one of those few backs who you assume is an RB1. He has a very tough match up this week against a Broncos defense that is not only giving up the fewest fantasy points to running backs of late but has only given up 7 total TDs to rushers this season. You can’t sit Rice because he can explode any day regardless of the competition. He’s a clear RB1 but this might be a week where you get decent numbers as opposed to mind blowing stats. Rookie Bernard Pierce (Temple) is definitely a handcuff that should be stashed.
