Ben Roethlisberger said, “My arm is ready”. We assume he means for football and not strong arming women in bathrooms and such, but in reality his well rested arm is probably ready for both. Ben will greeted by the 7th best rushing team and 30th ranked pass offense. One has to figure out whether Ben will pass enough to post starting quality fantasy numbers every week.
FANTASY FOOTBALL SPIN
Michael Vick was the most intriguing fantasy football prospect of the first quarter of 2010 and we think Roethlisberger will be the most intriguing prospect of the second quarter. We have put out the call to all fantasy experts and avid fantasy players to give us your opinion. We will also be posting a poll later this week. We are going to cover this situation closely and give you the best information on what to expect from Big Ben. For now, here is our take…
Ben averaged only 2 points less than Aaron Rodgers per game in 2009. We don’t think you will see that Roethlisberger this year, but you will not see an offense that is run-centric either. We like Ben to be top 12 from here on out, but not top 8. He will be a low end QB#1.
