The AFC East is the only division with two 5-1 teams (Jets, New England) and Miami has proven to be layoff caliber. Despite an 0-6 record, with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center the Bills gave the Ravens a run for their money and could be primed to post their first win with home matchups against Chicago and Detroit in weeks 9 and 10.

New England’s trip to the left coast resulted in a 23-20 victory over Norv and the 2-5 Chargers but the offense was less than impressive as Tom Brady posted his 3rd consecutive one touchdown performance. In week 8, the Pats and Belichick welcome Randy Moss back to Foxboro in a matchup that will also feature Favre and his traveling circus. Even if #4’s consecutive game streak ends at 315 and backup Tarvaris Jackson is under center, the Viking receiving options should fare well against the 30th ranked Pats pass defense. The NY Jets return from the BYE week to host Green Bay and QB Aaron Rodgers and will need a healthy Darrelle Revis (rumored to be back to 100%). Miami fell to 3-3 following a heartbreaking 23-22 home loss to the Steelers and have a difficult month coming up (@ CIN, @BAL, TEN).  The Bills offense exploded for over 500 yards in Baltimore as Lee Evans hauled in 3 TDs and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick passed for 374 yards against the Ravens 8th ranked pass defense. This week the Bills travel to Arrowhead to face a KC defense that ranks 25th against the pass.

New EnglandDanny Woodhead has led the Pats RBs in carries for three straight weeks and his fantasy stock is pointing up as the dual threat should see his role continue to expand.

NY Jets - TE Dustin Keller is likely to start despite battling a wrist injury.  The struggling pass defense (ranked 22nd) should also get a boost as CB Darrelle Revis has proclaimed himself 100%.

Miami - The Dolphins running game is struggling and their week 7 play calling was questionable at best. The Fins would be wise to better utilize WRs Brandon Marshall and Davone Bess  against a banged up Cincy defense that was abused by Matt Ryan and Roddy White in week 7.

Buffalo - Ivy League QB Ryan Fitzpatrick should be on fantasy radars following his week 7 breakout performance in Baltimore.
