Kenny Britt sustained what has been described as a serious hamstring injury during the first half of the Titans week 8 loss to the Chargers.  Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that Britt was dealing with a hamstring issue during practice all week although he was not on the injury report.  Wyatt also quoted HC Jeff Fisher as saying that Britt may be out “an extended period of time.”

Our article of the day today is an early waiver wire listing from and they list Nate Washington as a prospect to look at even though they caution that he is likely a one week wonder.

Nate Washington was very productive in Britt’s absence, but how well he performs if Britt misses time is questionable to say the least.  Justin Gage may actually be the better play.  The Titans have a week 9 bye so it is really a question of whether or not Britt can make it back for the week 10 game.  Stay tuned as we will really only be able to tell who the best play is when the Titans get deep into their practice and preparation for week 10′s matchup.  If we had to bet, we would say that Britt will either not play week 10 or will be slowed at best.
