Mikel Leshoure (Illinois) Declares for Draft, Just Might be Top RB in 2011 Class

As of now the clear #1 as ranked by most experts is Mark Ingram, but Leshoure is coming off a monster season and has prototypical size for a workhorse back.

We think he will come out of the NFL combine neck and neck with Ingram. Most mocks have the Dolphins being the first team to take a RB in the first round. The Bengals, Redskins, Packers, and Seahawks can’t be counted out either. And, of course, the Bills have major holes and desperate needs elsewhere, but having talented backs didn’t stop them from drafting a RB last year when they selected CJ Spiller at #9 (why not waste another pick?).
