In a time when idiocy is on violent display in the NFL one of the millionaires on strike has stood out.  Adrian Peterson, who is scheduled to make $10.72M from the Vikings and that doesn’t include the endorsement money that being an NFL player allows him to pursue, says that the current NFL structure is akin to modern day slavery.

Seriously, if earning millions and millions of dollars is slavery, sign me up.  Better yet, stop saying stupid things.  You’re a jackass.  We try not to stray from fantasy topics, but since this site was launched about a year ago this is the single least intelligent thing an NFL player has uttered, and maybe the most offensive, so I couldn’t let it pass.  How about Adrian Peterson provides open books on his finances if and when the owners do so that we can see how a slave lives in this day and age.
